Beautiful and iconic Arielle daybed designed by Wim Rietveld for Auping, The Netherlands 1955. Typical industrial Dutch design. The frame is made of black coated tubular metal and the mattress is upholstered with a nice quality Richwool fabric, which looks great in contrast with the metal frame. The legs can be folded in and out easily for transportation and installation. This hard to find modernist daybed is in excellent condition. It would be a great addition to each modern interior.
