Iconic pair of 'Safari' chairs designed by Wilhelm Kienzle in 1928 and manufactured by Wohnbedarf, Switzerland 1950. These chairs have solid beechwood constructions and very nice natural stitched leather seats, arms and straps with brass buckle details. The leather shows a beautiful patina from several years of usage, it adds character to their appearance and makes them unique as well. The design is from the late 1920s but these specific chairs were produced in the 1950s. These comfortable and sophisticated Safari chairs are in very good original condition.
