Beautiful secretary or writing desk designed by Walter Wirz and manufactured by Wilhelm Renz, Germany 1960. This very rare piece is executed in teak. The quality and design is superb: an internal spring mechanism opens up with opening the folding door and two rail guards that support the desk surface are moved out. Behind the foldable desk top door there is a compartment with a small sliding door and some storage spaces. Under the top part there are two drawers. This functional and well-crafted compact writing desk stands on a characterized frame of teak. Its timeless beauty adds a touch of elegance to any home. Very nice clean and straight design that reflects the Danish modern design movement.
This secretary or writing desk is in excellent condition; it is totally refinished with a high quality UV and water protective lacquer with preservation of authenticity. Also completely structural checked and ready to use. An incredible catch for any modern home, office or interior.
