Highly refined freestanding dry bar cabinet designed by Poul Heltborg for Heltborg Møbelfabrik 1960. This decorative yet functional liquor bar is executed in rosewood. When opened, the bar reveals its beauty. The top flips open and front flips down to a black laminated mixing surface with cubby holes for storing bottles, including two metal ice buckets that can be taken out. Two sliding doors with brass ellipse shaped pulls open to shelving and additional bottle storage. There is also a removable built-in cutting board. The back of the bar is also finished so when it's completely opened up, two bar stools can be pulled up to the bar during parties. The bar is on castors for ease of movement.
This free standing cabinet is finished all around, so it can be put in the middle of the room. Wonderful versatile piece of Scandinavian design which is well crafted all around. It is still in very good original condition with minor wear due time and usage. An incredible catch for any modern home, bar or interior.
