Stunning foldable writing desk designed by Mummenthaler & Meier, Switzerland 1950. This model is called “Magic Box” and the name says it all. When you open the cabinet, it shows a very nice working space with a plenty of storage options. By pulling out the drawer part and folding down the shelf behind, it creates a desk top. Above this desk top there is a light which will switch on by pulling out. Underneath the desk top there is another pull-out tray to store your documents. This cabinet is made of beautiful grained rosewood and has brass details.
A very nice and compact solution that has a big surprise and lots of space inside when it has been completely unfolded. This phenomenal cabinet is in very good original condition. A true eyecatcher for any modern home, office or interior.
