Stunning pendant lamp model Cassiopé designed and manufactured by Max Sauze, France 1969. This beautiful lamp has been build up on a metal frame combined with bend aluminium leaves to provide a symmetric design with a wonderful and slightly mysterious light partition. Max Sauze is known for his symmetrical designs in shining metal. Originally this pendant lamp was designed for the Congress Center in Aix en Provence. The Cassiopé is commercially produced in two sizes, this being the smallest size one. Amazing pendant lamp in very good original condition and emits a beautiful diffuse light. It uses a E27 bulb up to 100 watt. A real nice catch for any modern home, office or interior.
Early in his career Max Sauze developed a signature style working mainly with metal wire structures and intricately cut aluminium sheets. His light designs resemble cellular structures, which are elegantly formed around the source of light. Those beautiful light objects are often called after constellations.
All our lights are checked, cleaned and suitable for use in the USA. For US usage you would only have to change the plug or get a holiday converter.
