Stunning floating desk model 70 designed by Kai Kristiansen for Feldballes Møbelfabrik, Denmark 1958. Along with Hans Wegner, Arne Jacobsen and Børge Mogensen, Kai Kristiansen was one of the great masters of Danish design of the mid-century. He accomplished a truly elegant, highly convincing desk design.
This well-crafted freestanding desk is made of beautiful expressive grained rosewood. It consists of four drawers on the front and two storage spaces with a door at the back. Unique sculpted drawer pulls, tapered floating sled legs, and dovetailed joints showcase the impeccable attention to detail taken in the construction of the piece.
