Very nice and highly decorative sewing box or storage box designed by Joos Teders for Metalux, The Netherlands 1950. This is a very nice coloured edition; grey, yellow, red and black. These original lacquered metal boxes are very nice in contrast to the coloured plywood tops. The base is made of black lacquered metal. The tops of the boxes swivel to open so you can store small items inside. Originally it is intended to store sewing stuff like thread and needles. This beautiful edition is in very good original condition. A real nice catch for any modern home, office or interior.
