Very nice and highly decorative sewing box or storage box designed by Joos Teders for Metalux, The Netherlands 1955. This is a very nice coloured edition; grey, yellow, red and black. These original lacquered wooden boxes are very nice in contrast to the birch plywood tops. The tops of the boxes swivel to open. The tripod base is made of black lacquered metal. This beautiful edition is in very good original condition. A real nice catch for any modern home, office or interior.
