Iconic rocking chair model J16 designed in 1944 by Hans J. Wegner and manufactured by Kvist Møbler, Denmark 1970. Stunning example of Danish design with the sensually curved arms inspired by traditional Windsor and Shaker furniture, fused with Wegner’s poetic lines. The chair is made of beech wood with a woven paper cord seat. This wonderful piece of one of the greatest Danish mid-century designs features a characteristic high spindle back and shapely curvaceous arms and blade-style runners. It is in very good original condition. A real nice catch for any interior, children room or natural themed style room.
