Wonderful student desk designed by Hans J. Wegner for Getama, Denmark 1970. This two drawer desk was originally designed for a Danish school and later on also sold for private use. Beautiful straight forward design with floating drawers and subtly elevated top. The desk is made of oak wood and is a very well-crafted piece of mid-century furniture from Denmark. Some nice details are the drawer dovetail connections, finely designed handles and the storage space at the back. This desk is in good original condition with normal wear from age and usage. It’s stamped underneath with a “Getama Hans Wegner Denmark” stamp. There is no key included.
