Fantastic sculptural high back swivel lounge chair designed by Hans Brattrud for Hove Mobler, Norway 1957. This amazing lounge chair is completely restored and a leather expert created a fitting, new cushion and headrest in a high quality, natural tanned brown Sørensen leather. The leather cushions can be completely removed, then the chair appears like a sculpture in space. The rosewood slat bent seating is elegantly constructed and is truly eye catching. Another special feature is the so-called captains return, the chair is completely rotatable and can be tilled back. A spring mechanism always brings the seat back to its original position. The details and the outstanding workmanship are evidence of the best craftsmanship. Stunning lounge chair which is very comfortable too.
This piece is restored with the greatest care and attention. It is again in very good condition with a nice patina due age and usage. An incredible catch for any modern home, office or interior.
