Beautiful and very rare floor lamp model Magneto designed by Henk Fillekes for Artiforte, The Netherlands 1954. This lamp is called the ‘Magneto’ and the name says it all. This super lamp was produced for a short period (1954 to 1958) so not that many were made. They were hand assembled by a small company.
The lamp has a black lacquered round base with a nickel plated rod and arm, the counter weight and shade are black as well. The foot and arm are connected with a round shaped very strong magnet. This lamp is fully adjustable because of the ingenious use of the round magnet. It is super stable and in seconds it can be changed into numerous different positions; for reading, uplight, etc. Timeless design and very functional too. This floor lamp is still in very good original condition with normal wear due time and usage. An incredible catch and real centrepiece for any modern home, office or interior.
All our lights are checked, cleaned and are suitable for use in the USA. For US usage you would only have to change the plug or get a holiday converter if needed.
