Very nice drafting table and chair designed by Wim Rietveld and Friso Kramer for Ahrend de Cirkel, The Netherlands 1963. The table is adjustable in numerous positions using an ingenious adjusting system using only 2 screws at the side. The chair is also adjustable in height by using the rotary knobs on the side. This drafting table won a ´Signe d´Or´ in Bruxelles in 1963 for its amazing user friendly design. It has a dark grey metal frame and aluminum foot protection. The top (100 x 75 cm) is made of beech plywood. The chair has a light grey frame with a plywood seat and back. The set is fully original and in very good condition with a nice patina due age and usage. A real nice catch for any modern home, office or interior.
