Beautiful shaped double bed from the Euroika series designed by Friso Kramer for Auping, The Netherlands 1963. Friso Kramer designed also from this series: bed, bed cabinets, table, chair, mirror and a toilet cabinet. This bed has a black coated metal frame with tapered feet, a spring seat, teak plywood ends and floating nightstands. The mattress is newly upholstered in off white Richwool fabric, which gives a very nice contrast to the wood and black metal. This large bed including nightstands is very hard to find. It is in excellent condition; the framework is coated in black, the mattress is newly upholstered and the teak plywood parts are in very good original condition. The size of the mattress is 130 x 190 cm. This fantastic bed is a really nice catch for any modern bedroom or interior.
