Fantastically shaped pair of lounge chairs designed by Frederik Kayser for Vatne Møbelfabrik, Norway 1950. These sculptural chairs feature a solid teak wooden frame and has two cushions newly upholstered with high quality off white linen fabric supported by black leather webbing straps. Typical example of high quality Scandinavian craftmanship from the fifties. Some beautiful details are the sculpted armrests, brass connections and tapered feet. The chairs seat very comfortable and they are in fantastic original condition. An incredible catch for any modern home, office or interior.
