Fantastic large dining table from the “Diplomat” office series designed by Finn Juhl for France & Søn / CADO, Denmark 1962. Along with Hans Wegner, Arne Jacobsen and Børge Mogensen, Finn Juhl was one of the great masters of Danish design of the mid-century. This elegant and well-crafted table is made of beautiful warm grained rosewood. It is made with an exceptional eye for quality and a very smooth finish. It would make a beautiful addition to any dining room, but could also function very well as a luxurious writing desk. This large table can use up to eight or ten chairs and the legs can be dismantled easily for transport.
This exceptional piece of Scandinavian modern design is in very good condition, it is fully refinished with a high quality UV and water protective lacquer with preservation of authenticity. The desk is marked with the metal “CADO” tag and golden stamp "FF made in Denmark" underneath the top. An incredibly catch for any modern home, office or interior.
