Beautiful symmetric cabinet model CU07 of the Japanese Series designed by Cees Braakman for Pastoe, The Netherlands 1958. This minimalistic high cabinet is made of nicely grained teak wood in combination with two white lacquered dropdown doors and has a black lacquered metal frame. The iconic handles are made of black moulded plastic. There is a lot of storage place behind the doors with two nicely curved shelves and a small blue and white compartment for paper mail that gives a playful effect. This cabinet is from the Japanese series as you can see it has a lot of Japanese influences. It is in very good condition with normal wear due to age and usage. It’s marked with a production stamp at the back “30 Juni 1959”. This is timeless piece is a really nice catch for any modern home, office or interior.
