Beautiful shaped writing desk model EU01 of the Japanese Series designed by Cees Braakman for Pastoe, The Netherlands 1958. This minimalistic desk is made of teak wood and has a black lacquered metal frame. The handles are made of black moulded plastic. It has four drawers on the right with the very nice typical bentwood insides. The desk is from the Japanese series as you can see it has a lot of Japanese influences. There are no keys included.
This desk is in very good condition, the top is fully refinished with a high quality UV and water protective lacquer with preservation of authenticity and the leather is original. Incredibly decorative and centre piece for any modern home, office or interior.
